Liu Limin was born in Qingfeng County, Henan Province in 1961 and acted as curator of Liu Limin Straw Patchwork Art Exhibition Hall at present.

In the eighties of the 20th century, Liu Limin found the Chinese stunt straw patchwork that had already losted many years. She concentrates on studies, bravery and innovation, make the old folk art replay radiant splendour with her skillful hands. Its works pursue the intererstion natural, vertical profound level, color sense result and mystique. Her opus "Guo country's Wife Travel in Spring" was collected by the Great Hall of the People, "Five Oxes Picture" and "Great Wind" were awarded a gold medal and supreme award-"shanhua Award" at China's International Fold Art Fair.

She has been invited to go to USA, germany, France, Singapore and other places to exhibit and established "USA Eastern folk culture & Arts corporation" in california of USA. And it has done the special report many times by CCTV, People's Daily, China Craft Newspaper, Los Angeles Newspaper and such many chinese and foreign medias. And Pakistani president Musharraf and Qingdao Taizhi, UNESCO China representative, met Liu Limin cordially.
